About the Project

Ripio is one of the most recognized crypto companies in Latin America, leading the way in infrastructure, liquidity, and adoption across the region. With Ripio Ventures, the mission was clear: not just to fund startups, but to back the fearless: Web3 pioneers building the future of the internet.

They needed a brand identity that would:
  • Speak to trailblazers and rebels with vision.

  • Convey Web3 not as a trend, but as an uncharted frontier.

  • Stand out in a noisy crypto landscape with visual clarity and power.

  • Remain connected to the Ripio parent brand while establishing a distinct voice and presence.

Our goal was to craft a visual identity and brand system that speaks VC and crypto at the same time, aligns with bold messages and scales across all the assets.

Create an identity for a venture arm that is both institutional and on-chain native. It needed the clarity of a fund and the energy of Web3, plus a toolkit that teams could deploy fast across touchpoints without losing consistency. We also had to stay connected to Ripio’s ecosystem while giving Ventures its own voice. We approached this identity with the mindset of designing for crypto explorers, not corporate suits.

About the system

We built a modular brand system anchored in clear grids, bold typography, and a motion-ready graphic language derived from simple geometric primitives. Color, spacing, and hierarchy were defined as tokens so the system could stretch from data-heavy memos to stage visuals, and from founder decks to social snippets, without breaking.

Typography

We chose Fixture, a typeface designed by SudTipos, as the core of the brand’s typographic system. With sharp elegance and confident weight, it was the perfect vessel to carry bold messages like “WE ARE LOOKING FOR FEARLESS.” Its editorial tone bridges the classic and the contemporary, helping the brand feel grounded and ambitious at the same time.

Iconography

We designed a custom icon system to express Ripio Ventures’ theses at a glance. Each set maps to a category: DeFi, DAOs, Infrastructure, Social, Gaming, DeSci. Using simple geometric primitives that echo the brand grid and typography rhythm. Forms suggest networks, orbits, stacks, and molecules, so the meaning reads fast even at small sizes.

Message-Driven Design

The phrases “WELCOME TO WEB3” and “WE ARE LOOKING FOR FEARLESS” weren’t treated as slogans, they became part of the visual architecture. The tone was clear and aspirational, targeting founders building DAOs, protocols, DeFi products, NFT infrastructure, those shaping what's next. The identity invites them to see Ripio Ventures not just as capital, but as a shared mindset.
