About the Project
Emilabs: Scaling Identity for AI-Driven Recruitment
Emilabs is reshaping the way companies approach high-volume hiring across Latin America, making the process faster, simpler, and powered by AI. As the platform expanded regionally and its product evolved, we worked alongside their team, design, product and strategy to bring greater clarity and cohesion to the brand’s visual language. Together, we evolved the system and extended it across every key touchpoint: from the website to internal materials, events, reports, and social media, building a foundation designed to grow with the company.
In 2022, Emilabs closed its Series A funding round reinforcing its position as a fast-growing, strategically backed platform for AI-powered frontline recruitment.
Challenge
With a growing product and expanding reach, Emilabs needed a brand system that could scale alongside its ambitions. The existing visual identity had strong foundations, but the real challenge was twofold: build a system with the flexibility to grow, and do so in close collaboration across design, product, and strategy. That meant working in sync across teams, refining, adjusting, and implementing quickly through fast feedback loops. What emerged was more than a visual refresh: a shared language capable of evolving with the company.
From Brand Assets to Brand Architecture
We approached the project not as a redesign, but as a structural challenge. Emilabs had a visual foundation: logo, palette, and tone, but what it needed was a system: something flexible enough to adapt, consistent enough to scale. Our team worked across design and product to turn scattered brand assets into a cohesive architecture. We defined principles, created modular components, and established visual behaviors that could work across channels, formats, and teams. What began as a limited identity became a brand built for momentum ready to grow without losing coherence.
A Website that Scales the Brand
We designed a flexible site from the ground up, architecture, wireframes, UI and system components, built to grow with the product. We also refined the brand’s visual range: expanded tonal values for accessibility, curated photography to add warmth, and motion graphics to bring clarity and energy across screens.
Expanding the Brand from within
To extend the visual system, we looked inward using the logo’s geometry as a foundation for new brand elements. Together with Emilabs’ team, we pushed beyond the isotype, developing proprietary shapes, graphic accents and layout structures directly derived from its core construction. The result is a visual language that’s distinctive, scalable, and deeply rooted in the brand’s core structure.
Outcome
The result is a brand that communicates with consistency and intention across every touchpoint, from internal decks to enterprise sales, product launches and social campaigns. With a scalable system in place, Emilabs can move faster, align teams more easily, and show up with clarity wherever the brand needs to be.
